BJP mulls options as mutiny breaks in Karnataka

In Karnataka, efforts are on to select a new leader to succeed Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, who has been asked by the Party Parliamentary Board to resign.
BJP Central leaders Rajnath Singh and Arun Jailtley held another round of talks with Yeddyurappa in Bangalore this morning.
After the meeting, BJP State President K S Eeshwarappa refuted media reports that the Chief Minister has imposed some conditions to step down. He said Yeddyurappa was likely to resign on Sunday after the Ashada month as was promised by him.

He added that the selection of new leaders will commence only after that.
